Question: Hi I am 39yrs old I have this dry hacking cough and my legs and feet are so sore and hurts up to my knees the back of my calfs I have also have a low grade fever I am on metformin atenolol levothyroxin omperozole iron sulfate and birth control and wellburtrin

We should first rule out DVT and Pulmonary embolism.

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, we should first rule out DVT (deep venous thrombosis) of lower limb veins and Pulmonary embolism.
You are having calf pain with dry hacking cough.
You are also having diabetes, hypothyroidism and you are taking birth control pills. So all these are risk factors for DVT.
So better to first get done bilateral lower limb venous doppler and d dimer test.
If both these are negative then no need to worry for DVT and embolism.
Sometimes dyslipidemia can also cause similar symptoms. So get done lipid profile.
Also get done chest x ray to rule out internal lung related causes for your dry cough.
So consult doctor and discuss all these.
