Question: I'm 72. 5'2", 170 lbs. I ate four muffins. I know. Stupid. They just came out of the oven. Laid on couch to watch TV. Heartbeat was 154 and irregular. Five minutes later, it's down to 139. Do I just keep moving?

Brief Answer:
Mild movement is okay.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Moving around can be mild. Do not move rapidly.
2. Advisable to relax.

Heart rate more likely due to stress and anxiety.

It will come down.

Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
