Suggest Remedy For Itching On The Palm Of Hands And Forearms

Question: Hi I'm 21 years old and I've been battling what I think is an injury to my hands and forearms for the past 2 weeks but I'm not sure what exactly it is. I have had pains in the center of my hands (mostly my right hand) and part of my forearms, and it feels like a pulsing, slightly burning sensation. During the first week, the pain was mild to moderate and mostly constant, with some swelling in my hands. I wasn't able to move my hands much because of this. I used muscle relaxant and it helped for a day, but after that it only contributed more to the swelling. After that, I took ibuprofen more often and the swelling vanished, but had to deal with cramps now, especially while at work. During this time of cramps, nerve pain wasn't present. Most recently, I have had minor nerve pains that shoot up to my forearms. What I think caused all of this is the fact that two weeks ago, I came home from work and started smashing the door shut as hard as I could with my bare hands (the leveling of the house caused my front door to not close properly). Then 2 days later, I started to feel minor pains and later that day, I was playing around with a friend who is smaller than me and I tried picking him up and tossing him to a couch, but because he was heavy, that might have strained my hands. The pain is less and less each day, but this afternoon my nerve in my right hand started burning intensely after I made a bit of force, but went away after a few minutes. Anyways, I want to know what could this be. Muscle damage? nerve damage? am I developing something or is it just an injury that is healing slowly? Please advise.

I am a web designer so I do computer work, although I don't type or use the mouse too much all day. I have some tingling but it's rare, and mostly in my hands, and it hasn't happened every day. Some days its just cramping. I haven't had any pains or feelings like this in the past. I don't have any diseases as far as I know; I did have Hepatitis A when I was 5 but that was it. If it helps, I will say that I can move my fingers well as of now and my pain is pretty much gone, except for minor cramps I might get if I use my hands to work. I'm guessing I've strained my muscles and caused some pain in my nerves from that muscle damage. My hand strength has come back but I can't lift heavy objects or I might strain the muscle. Sleeping isn't a problem for me, I just have to find a comfortable position to rest my arms (since part of the problem is there) and I'm good. The tingling and nerve pain only come back if I aggravate my hands or use force, but other than that, I feel ok. Additionally, I've had some minor foot pains on rare occasions, and those pains feel just like the ones in my hand, but theyre long gone know. Right now, it feels more like a pulled muscle... do you think that bashing I did on the door might have damaged my hands?
