Suggest Remedy For Pain And Fatigue Due To Constipation

default
Posted on Thu, 5 Nov 2015
Question: I went to the ER 2 days ago and xray show fecal impaction in the ascending and part of the transverse colon. I had not been able to have a BM of about 10 days and I tried magnesium and daily 2 liter enemas for days with no results. I have a history of poor motility over 15 years. I was told to go to the ER by my gastro Dr because the pain fells different and I have a fever. They told me to do the standard Colonoscopy prep but but no results just a couple tablespoons of water that day. I did a different colonoscopy prep with mirilax the next day with no results. This is not going to move. The pain and fatigue and malaise is more than I can handle. I need assitance to remove the impaction with medical help of tools of some kind. Do these tools exist because the ER said they couldn't help me

Please find below explanations

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!

I read carefully all your concerns and I am sorry for the situation you are in.

1. You are reporting to have fever, fatigue, constipation. With regards to your symptoms first of all you should exclude lieus or bowel blockage.

This is why I strongly recommend to go to ER a perform abdominal CT.

2.If lieus is excluded than you can try remedies given as follows:
- use sena leaves
- use olive oil 3 teaspoon per day
- continue to use enema
- use plenty of water and try to use soup
- continue miralax
-start to use bysacodyl

Please keep in mind that the process of bowel cleanin will be slowly and not for one day.
It will need 7- 10 days.

After one week with the remedies that I have mentioned you will start the 24 hours preparation for colonoscopy with Clean prep.

Wish you all the best!
