
Suggest Remedy For Pain In Back Of Knee That Radiates To The Legs

Question: I have pain in the back of my knee where your leg bends back and forth. It will radiate down the front of my leg and it will wake me up in the middle of the night because you cannot lay it in any position that is comfortable.It feels better to stand then to lay down. Also when I sat, I cannot have the edge of the chair right on the bend of the knee because it sends out pain. What is this? Thank you

The best treatment is exercise, avoid squatting position, walking, reduce weight.
if required, hot fomentation and some pain killer like paracetamol may help.

I'm not sure if I explain it right because when I look up osteoarthritis, it sounds a little different then what I am feeling.
