Suggest Remedy For Pain In Chest

Posted on Mon, 15 Sep 2014
Question: I have had heart tests in the past years and all okay. The last were a year or two ago.
However, I still have pains in chest, sometimes significant. Not constant, but perhaps 2-3 times a week that last for a period of time - maybe 30 minutes? Just now I experienced sharp almost electric shock and perhaps pinching feeling. It occasionally takes my breath away, once in a while has made my knees buckle. Then I seem fine and go about my day. I am educated and with high IQ but wonder if I am crazy. I am fortunate to not have any real issues going on in my life, just normal everyday stresses. I do not want to go back to a doctor as to look foolish.

Brief Answer:
Need more information

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,
I have some questions;
1. whether your pain is connected with physical activity. can you climb stairs? Do you have pain during physical activity?
2. Does your pain become more intensive with movements, with breathing?
3. Is there any position that your pain is less intensive?
4. Can you remember last three times what were you doing when your pain started?

Waiting for your response.

Thank you for your response.
1. I am sure that it is not necessarily connected to physical activity. I am not particularly active though. I am overweight and yes sometimes climbing stairs is a little issue in that I get out somewhat out of breath. Not always though. But, the pains do not and have never occurred at those times.
2. Movement doesn't seem to help or hurt. I do find myself not breathing deeply but rather taking shallow breaths for a long time. I am not sure if that is because I can't breath deeply or is it in response/fear.
3. I am sure no position helps or hurts. When the episodes happen I just sit (kind of in shock) and wait a bit.
4. The pains seem to occur quite randomly. I think I was never doing anything in particular. Just recently I was just standing at a sink washing a few dishes. Another time I was just talking to someone in a driveway. Another time I was just sitting at a desk at work.
I don't believe my answers will be of much help to you. Please excuse.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are not typical for heart

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,
Your complains are not tipical for heart attack.
As you have already done heart tests, I would advise you to check your vertebra. the simplest test is X-Rays , so you can start from that.
In many cases chest pain comes from vertebra.
And surely lose weight it is favorable both for heart and vertebra.

Wish you good health.
If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask
