Suggest Remedy For Pain In Knee And Hips

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In light of the severity of the symptoms I think this should be evaluated - you may need an x-ray to evaluate the joint in your hip and knee. The hip pain may be related to how you may be walking as you might be shifting weight more to the left side to keep from exacerbating the knee pain.
In cases like this a course of steroids or sometimes an injection may be helpful.
I would start with a good clinical exam by your doctor followed by a possible imaging study and then some medication to hopefully ease your symptoms.
Sincerely,
Dr. Galamaga

the pain started in the hip and is radiating down the left leg. the right knee started approximately a week later so I don't believe it is contributed to walking . I do not have a family doctor. is this something that could be evaluated at a stat care versus the er. I work on my feet approximately ten hours a day and need to get back to work

Detailed Answer:
I see - the same can be true if the pain started in the hip you may have shifted weight to the opposite knee which can contribute to knee pain.
Stat care should be able to evaluate this for you and provide you with some treatment to ease your symptoms.
