What Causes Bone And Muscle Joint Pains?

Hi, I am sixteen years of age, female, about five feet two inches tall, and two hundred and eight pounds (I am working on losing some weight.) lately I have had serious pain in my hip, lower back, knee, and thigh. It hurts when I am sitting and when I start to walk, but fades as I walk. Hurts bad to run. Pain is at it s worse while I am sitting, but is constantly present. Keeps me from sleep. Should I be worried?

Hi,

You should see a physician and get yourselves further evaluated. Multiple joint pains more so at rest can be due to arthritis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kampana, General & Family Physician
