Brief Answer:
Lichen planus or friction dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photographs.
Pigmentation of penis is seen in lichen planus, a pigmentary disorder of penis or friction dermatitis.
I would like to know few additional information.
1. Do you have itching in the involved area?
2. While having sexual intercourse do you use condom?
Please answer the above.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you

1. I do have an itching/stinging sensation in the area. The area is also sticky. Discomfort in the area is 3 out of 10. The itching isn't consistent and probably lasts a total of 30 minutes or less per day. Some days it does not itch.
2. I do use condoms with every sexual experience. I have not had sex in 60 days. I have refrained from masturbation for 3 days so far.
Went to PCP Friday and they said see dermatologist or urologist again if I am still concerned as it didn't appear to be STD.
Thanks for the feedback

Brief Answer:
Not std
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Don't worry it's not an STD.
It's just pigmentation of penile skin, probably secondary yo lichen planus.
I treat such cases with a mild steroid cream like fluticasone.
It reduces the itching as well decreases pigmentation within 15 days.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
