Suggest Remedy For Pimples In The Groin Area
Possibility of acneiform eruption
Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam
Welcome to the portal!
I am Dr V XXXXXXX
I am a Sr Dermatologist.
I have noted your concerns and think that the lesions that you have observed seem nearest in resemblance to acneiform lesions. You may call them as small bumps that arise due to blockage of skin pores of sebaceous or oil producing glands in certain areas of the body including the area referred to by you.
Generally these do not require any treatment. However, please not the following points that have helped most of my similar patients:
1 Thoroughly wash or sponge the area just with plain water several times a day.
2 Apply Clindamycin cream or gel to prevent infection.
3 Have your hormonal status checked.
4 If on steroids, talk to your doctor about reducing the dose.
5 If any adverse feature like pain/itching/growth appears, reporting the same to doctor would be the best way-out.
I am sure these suggestions will help you. It might take a while before you actually notice the results, so please let the treatment take time to show effects.
Best wishes, always!
