Suggest Remedy For Severe Cough

Question: Hi I have a sever unproductive cough and a low squeaking sound coming from my chest when i breathe. I am 32 and a smoker but generally in good health , have shad this cold for a few weeks and its' getting worse not better.

Probability:-
It is Respiratory tract infection and you have to take care of yourself. The sounds from chest are due to the respiratory airway constriction.

Management:-
Take plenty of water and fresh fruits.
Take a good night's sleep.
Keep a warm mist vaporizer in your bedroom for comfort of airways. You can add Vicks pads in it too.
Try to refrain from smoking.

Medications Guide:-
Azithromycin if not allergic to.
Fexet-D.
Ibuprofen.
Montelucast.
Over the counter available Cough syrup.
Steam inhalation.
You will feel better soon.
