Suggest Remedy For Vaginal Bleeding Post Intercourse While Having A IUD
Question: I have been mildly bleeding for two days post intercourse with a Paragard IUD. Is this normal? Should I see a doctor a check-up tomorrow or should I wait for a few days?
Brief Answer:
Mild bleeding might occur with IUD.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic,
Yes, it is just normal to have mild bleeding or spotting after intercourse with your paragard IUD in place which is actually due to friction during intercourse.
It might also induce some cramping but there is nothing to worry.
Generally,it happens only in the initial 2-3 months and subsides later on later on.
So,you may wait for few more days and if bleeding continues or becomes heavy with lower abdominal pain and excessive cramps then you will need to see gynecologist for further evaluation.
Otherwise there is no need to worry.
Hope this will help you.
