Suggest Remedy For Warts On The Scalp
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I'm inquiring about a scalp condition I have had since my 20's. I have had what the doctor has called "Whens". I have had two of them removed by my physician, but I have developed 4 of them throughout my head. I have had one of these over a period of about 30 years, and the others have developed over a period of time. Are there any treatments that will topically remove these things without having to be removed surgically?
Thank You.
Thank You.
Brief Answer:
I suggest a possibility of common warts
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writnig to us at healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query.
I think you are talking about "Warts" here.
Can you upload an Image for a confirmatory diagnosis?
A Wart is an infection caused by Human Papiloma Virus (Hpv) and present as growths on skin surface, which are usually asymptomatic, rough/ verrucous.
Since it is an infection, Hpv virus can autoinoculate / spread to form more warts over a period of time, if they are ignored.
Treatment is simple. Treatment for warts on scalp is surgical, either Cautery Or CO 2 Laser.
Topical treatment is not effective.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist for the needful.
