Brief Answer: There is no validated herbal supplement for this Detailed Answer: Hi and thank you so much for this query. I am so sorry to hear about this illness that you have. XXXXXXX haunt syndrome which occurs when a shingles infection affects the facial nerve near one of your ears. In addition to the painful shingles rash, XXXXXXX Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear. Unfortunately, there are no herbal products that do any miracles to this condition. Beyond offering false hope and psychological relief if at all, the mechanism of this disease condition is very clear to the medical community. In addition to medications like zovirax, steroids, pain relievers and anti anxiety drugs for the treatment of this condition, the following measures can help improve comfort and prevent other complications. They include: Keep areas affected by the rash clean, Apply cool, wet compresses to the rash to ease pain, take an over-the-counter pain reliever or anti-inflammatory drug, such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others). If facial weakness makes it difficult for you to close one of your eyes, the following measures can help. Use moisturizing eyedrops throughout the day if your eye becomes dry and at night, apply ointment to the eye and tape your eyelid shut or wear an eye patch These would offer the greatest help in dealing with this condition. You already have enough to deal with that I will not want to get you to spending money with no clear benefits expected. I hope this helps. I wish you well.
