Brief Answer:
yes there are, seek a cardiologist

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
The prescriber doctor should have the knowledge of your asthma. Atenolol is the beta blocker not selective enough for beta 1 which is necessary and act on beta 2 receptors in lungs and these result in bronchospasm and thus leading to asthma exacerbations.25 mg can be a dose too but that depends whether the blood pressure is under control with that or not.If yes then fine if not then more Selective beta blockers like bisoprolol or carvedilol or some other antihypertensive family medicines which are many can be opted from eg ACE inhibitors, ARBs, Diuretics, Potassium Sparing diuretics etc.Modifying diet and lifestyle would help too.Sign up to AHA programs and take close observation of your cardiac and hypertensive profile.
Rest assured, there are many substitutes, you just need a cardiologist nearby to visit and he will take care of it for you.
I hope it helps. Take care and dont forget to close the discussion please.
