Suggest Treatmemt For Myopia
Question: Hi Doctor my age is 23, 2 weeks back i consulted doctor and had eye check up my power in right eye is -5.5 and left eye is -6 doctor told me ur eye sight gets increased little by little so no use of lasic operation so iam so feared still how much level up to my eye sight will get down i dono. Pls advise anyother solution for my eye problem

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having myopia. Since it increasing and it is nearing 6. 0 dioptresit is pathological myopia.
The refractive errors usually will increase till the age of 21 years till the eye ball is increasing in size. After 21 years it usually does not vary. Hence LASIK and other refractive surgeries are gone after the age of 21 years.
However in few this increase in refractive error can occur till 23-25 years.
Once the refractive error is stabilized you can undergo LASIK.
No need to worry even these pathological myopia will get stabilized and once it happens without any change for at least 1 year you can undergo LASIK.
Hence as of now no need to worry wait for 1 or 2 years.
Having a diet rich in Vitamin A is known to be helpful in decreasing rapid progression of refractive errors.
