Question: I HAD 3 PILAR CYST IN MY HEAD ,I HAD THE LARGEST ONE REMOVED . RECEIVED A CALL TODAY THAT THE BIOPSY CAME BACK POSITIVE, FOR CANCER, THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE BEEN PRETTY HORRIBLE FOR ME.I'VE BEEN IN AN OUT OF HOSPITALS BEING TREATED FOR COLITIS ,FINALLY GET THAT IN CONTROL AND I HAD A RUPTURED APENDICTS . I AM KNOW BEING TREATED WITH REMICADE FOR MY COLITIS.THIS SPRING I HAD TO TO GO FOR A PROCEDURE BECAUSE I HAD PRE CANCER CELLS NOW THIS.SHOULD I LET MY GASTRONOLOGIST KNOW BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER WITH THIS .??????

1.Sorry for what you are going through with multiple cysts in the brain / head. If you had attached the scan report that would have been helpful to know the extension of the disease and i would give better information regarding that.

2.How ever as you said its malignant lesion with biopsy proven, so follow further with the treating doctor with the therapy.

3.Your question was weather to let the gastroenterologist to know about the present status - the answer is yes, you need to share each any every aspect of your health related findings, as it will alter the treatment and management. Good luck.
