Question: Can I receive an online consultation for an adhd diagnosis. I have been diagnosed with adhd in the past and was being treated with medication for it. Since I no longer see my old doctor I have been off the medication and thought I could manage my symptoms. However I struggle on a daily basis. The medication I was taking really helped when I was taking it and feel it will help me once again. Since I can not afford a office visit and am extremely busy with work and other personal
things I think a online consultation would be ideal.

Hello. I have been through question and understand your concern.

ADHD is a clinical diagnosis and I suppose you are well informed on the diagnosis and the eventual treatment. In adults ghe most important features other than hyperactivity and inattention to deal with are anxiety and depression.

The most used treatment are the stimulants(methylphenidate, dextroamphetamine) and Atomoxetine as a second line therapy.

Still, in order to have these medication, you need specialist prescription.

I would start with Ritalin 20 mg orally twice daily, 30 min before meals.
