Question: My grandson was put on intuniv er for adhd and is experiencing what they are saying is seisures. is this related to this drug?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. Intuniv or Guanfacine is known to lower the seizure threshold and this might precipitate seizures. As they stopped the drug and started Oxcarbazepine so no need to worry.

The drug will control the seizures.
