Question: I have had bloating, gas pain, weight gain, and abdominal pain upon bearing down for 2 weeks. I normally get some bloat withy period which was when this started. But it has lasted way longer and been way more extreme with the weight gain and pains and gas. My lasr cycle was dec 30 - XXXXXXX 3. But this is still going. My stomach looks like i am pregnant which i am pretty sure that i am not. I am 37 years old and healthy as far as i know. But read this could be cancer. Ahould i check with a doc or see how it goes?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms aren't typical for cancer, but most likely are related to irritable bowel disease. Cancer isn't associated with weigh gain and you shouldn't worry for that.

If you were my patients I would like to recommend doing as follows:
- Eat often and in small portions
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid spicy food
- Reduce alcohol in less then a glass of wine per day (2-4 per week)
- Stop smoking
- Avoid tea, café, carbonated drink
- Use simethicone and creon to reduce the bloating

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
