Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your husband, male/56 - got pancreatitis - gall bladder was taken out on 2/3/2017 - gall bladder busted when they were taking out gall bladder - he has been home for 2 weeks - still having strong pains on his left side - taking anti-acid pills and nausea control pills.

Please give additional information:
Is there associated bloating?
Loose stools or constipation?
Jaundice?
Any consultation with Doctors/ Surgeon within this 2 week period?
Or any investigations done to find out the cause?
Where exactly is the pain - is the pain referred to the back on the same level?
Any other information that you would like to share?

I would advise him the following since there should not be any pains after gall bladder surgery.
Preliminary ultrasound followed by contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen with detailed history for the Radiologist to look into in details.
Test of blood: CBC, Amylase, Lipase for pancreatitis, Liver and kidney function tests others as may be needed after clinical evaluation.

This will help to get the exact diagnosis and plan for proper further management.
Brief Answer:
Needs investigations

Detailed Answer:
hanks for your feedback.
Pain under the rib cage on left side after gall bladder surgery can be due to colitis or pancreatitis still persisting.
I would advise you to go to the Surgeon and/or ER and get the necessary investigations done to find the cause.
