Question: My husband has mandibular XXXXXXX Bilateral. He had hernia surgery in December and when he was intibated received a laseration. That then became an absess. After several dental visits, oral surgeon and a endodontist a root canal was discovered and he is in the final stages of the root canal. No one seems to have a straight forward answer and he is on his 3rd antibiotic since January. Any clue as to what is going on??

Brief Answer:
Tooth infection, XXXXXXX RCT, surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.

The pus formation and XXXXXXX are two separate entities. As far as the pus formation is Concerned, it can be because of the tooth infection. The mucosa over the XXXXXXX might have damaged while incubating. Nothing to be panic, get the root canal treatment completed.

The XXXXXXX can be removed surgically. Consult a oral physician and get it Treated. These are the possible causes and treatment plan based on the description of your problem. If you can upload the images so that I can give exact diagnosis and treatment plan. I hope my answer will help you. If any queries are there, reply back to me.

Take care.
