Suggest Treatment For Acute Bronchitis, Fatigue And Shoulder Pain

default
Posted on Thu, 2 Feb 2017
Question: I recently finisfed antibiotic therapy for acute bronchitis. (10 days, 2 times a day). During this illness I coughed constantly and with a lot of force. Once the broncnitis subsided, I developed a sharp and constant pain in my left shoulder that caused me almost 2 weeks of minimal sleep,as no pain medicine could quell the pain except Nsaids like Ibuprofen which I cannot take tracing to my chronic arrial fibrillation. Then the pain spread (radiated?) to both shoulders. Upon return home my personal physician scheduled an MRI for this Friday and provided an Rx that does provide temporary relief from the shoulder pain. Now, after almost 3-4 weeks I find myself with a diminished appetite znd consta t fatigue. Please, any thoughts?

Brief Answer:
I think you have had a lot of medication

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM,
I think you have had a lot of medication, first for acute bronchitis and then for the shoulder pain.
This has led to gastritis and loss of appetite.
Please take a good B complex with vitamin C and zinc. And also a good antacid for a week.
If you do not improve get your liver function tests done, since your liver could have been affected by the medication leading to gastritis.
You can revert back.
Regards
