Suggest Treatment For Acute Diarrhea
Probably minor infection, not related to diet
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. You appear to be having watery diarrhea.
2. Possibly minor infection of Gut. Diet changes would cause only once or twice and not repetitive.
3. Change in Gut flora can cause it.
4. Mainly you will need to maintain good hydration with oral rehydration salt and water.
5. Also probiotics along with normal diet, low on spice should be helpful. The more watery diarrhea, the more fluids need to be taken.
6. If diarrhea persists for more than a day or if severe abdominal pain is present, then you will need antibiotics along with antispasmodics. For antibiotics, you will require prescription from your doctor.
Hope it helps.
