Brief Answer:
Ivig fluid till hydration is corrected

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you are dehydrated iv fluid will help correct the hydration level. this will improve blood supply to kidney and so it's function will improve. hydration level has to be examined by your doctor. He will decide if you have good hydration then he will stop the fluids.

If you have herniated disk and are on many pain killers, they can affect the kidneys. whether the kidney will improve or not will depend on the extent of damage and it's duration. generally damage lasting for more than 3 months does not resolve. also important are serum creatinine report and ultrasound for kidney size. these will help us in predicting if the kidney can improve.

best wishes
