I guess your question is if she was diagnosed right, yes?
From the lipase levels, it looks like pancreatitis. But in order to decide an accurate diagnoses she needs also to fulfill at least 2 more criterias:
- severe abdominal pain localized in the epigastric area and radiated to the back which may last for days, and cause nausea too.
- Findings of pancreatitis in the abdominal ultrasound as well.
If she has had these 2 other symptoms as well, I confirm that she has pancreatitis.
