Suggest Treatment For Alcoholic Pancreatitis
For the past 2 years I've had a light ( i would describe as burning ) pain on the right side of my abdomen. It's warm to touch and at times the color changes to a light pinkish. Almost looks like a rash. It comes and goes. I had a CRP test recently and it came back that I may have some inflammation in my blood. Also it seems to hurt more after a night of drinking ( that could just be coincidence )

Thank you for asking
I read your question and I understand your concern. Pain in right quadrant of abdomen worsened by drinking is not a coincidence. It's rather a cause of this pain. Alcohol causes gastric discomfort and inflammation of biliary channels and liver thus explains the raised crp levels.
You need to quit drinking before you get alcoholic pancreatitis or a fatty liver or worse.
Meanwhile you can take some Antispasmodics and antacids for the relief.
I would advise an ultrasound studies along with liver and biliary ad well as pancreatic functions.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Thank you for getting back to me
Apart from alcohol such presentation could be of gastritis or a cholecystis or pancreatitis. Which are inflammation of hepatobiliary tract . Stones infections and some blockage are the likely triggers in that regards. History of some medications like painkillers may also cause such discomfort.
It's only a detailed clinical correlation that will narrow the differentials.
I hope it helps.
Take care
