Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Disorder Along With Panic Attacks
![default](/r/images/default.png)
continue drugs, do not hide this from your husband
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
Nexito is a very safe medicine. If you are feeling well with 10mg, I would suggest you to continue with it.
In the hassle of quitting the drugs early, your anxiety and panic disorder can become severe and disabling.
I agree with your doctor that you should practice yoga and meditation. Make these practices your routine. This will help you to reduce and stop your drug.
There is no problem in getting married with these drugs. I would advise you to disclose this to your husband as anxiety disorders are fairly common. There is nothing bad and shameful about.
Hiding the things can create air of mistrust in your relationship later. That would be worse.
Follw the advice of your doctor and do not stop the treatment on your own.
Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.

I am worried that would it possible to become mother with this medicine as I have read on internet it is not good for sexual relation. And also I have discussed with my Doc that is from PGI XXXXXXX He asked me to consult doc before family planning.
doc I want to quit this medicine bez it effects my weight. I gained 15 kg with 20mg and now reduced 5kg when was on 10mg nexito. So chemist always react while giving this medicine to me and said you are now dependent on this medicine and one day it will stop effecting you. These things make me worried as I am already emotional.
antidepressants never cause dependence.
Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Nexito is one of the safer antidepressants in pregnancy and lactation.
While prescribing medicines in pregnancy, we always assess risk:benefit ratio.
If your anxiety disorder is severe enough to affect your pregnancy, it is always advised to take the drugs.
It can decrease libido in some cases. But that is not a permanent problem.
Yes, weight gain can be a problem with the antidepressant drugs. But then this drug still causes less weight gain as compared to others.
Regarding dependence, whatever your chemist has told is absolutely false. Antidepressants never cause dependence.
It is the illness which relapses after stopping the drugs. Because, anxiety disorders are recurring disorders.
For weight gain, you have to go for work-outs and physical exercises atleast 30 minutes a day.
It is always wise to be in touch with your doctor when you plan for marriage and baby.
Hope this lessens your anxiety.
I wish you speedy recovery.
Thanks.
