Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Disorder Along With Panic Attacks
Question: Hi, I have been diagonesed with Anxiety disorder, Panic attacks. I also got IBS with this. Doctor prescribed me Nexito 10mg and dose was increased to 20MG. Then my doc reduced the dose to 15 and then to 10mg. I have taken 10mg for one years. Now i have been on 5 mg from last six months. But i am not that well that was with 10 mg. My doc asked to do yoga and meditation. But With IBS i get panic attacks few times. How can i stop this medicine as i have been taking it from 2 and half year. Please suggest. I want to get married but would it be possible with this medicine. SHould i discuss it with my husband.

I am worried that would it possible to become mother with this medicine as I have read on internet it is not good for sexual relation. And also I have discussed with my Doc that is from PGI XXXXXXX He asked me to consult doc before family planning.

Yes, weight gain can be a problem with the antidepressant drugs. But then this drug still causes less weight gain as compared to others.
Regarding dependence, whatever your chemist has told is absolutely false. Antidepressants never cause dependence.
It is the illness which relapses after stopping the drugs. Because, anxiety disorders are recurring disorders.
For weight gain, you have to go for work-outs and physical exercises atleast 30 minutes a day.
It is always wise to be in touch with your doctor when you plan for marriage and baby.
