Suggest Treatment For Benign Lesions On Liver

Brief Answer:
If malignant further work up is necessary
Detailed Answer:
If the lesion is clearly benign on imaging no further treatment is necessary except fr observation. If the lesion has characteristics of malignancy we need to determine if it is primary from liver or metastatic disease to liver. If primary from liver treatment depends on many factors one of which is size.
Coming to your question on MRI, MRI can better characterise benign lesions. It can differentiate fat, fluid, fibrous tissue. Certain lesions like hemangiomas are clearly differentiated. Also lesions like fibronodular hyperplasia which is benign can be diffentiated from carcinoma on MRI.

Brief Answer:
cause of jaundice needs to be evaluated
Detailed Answer:
Jaundice needs to be confirmed by liver function tests. If confirmed cause needs to be evaluated which can be done by some more tests. Most common are viral hepatitis.
It is very unusual for small space occupying lesions in liver to cause jaundice. So even if there small lesion in liver on imaging,it might not be the cause of jaundice.
Jaundice can also occur due to break down of red blood cells. Liver is normal in such cases.
Jaundice can be effectively treated if cause is found. Nothing to worry
