Brief Answer:
Her symptoms can be treated

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. Black mold poisoning is known to resul in neurotoxic effects on brain and individuals exposed to it are known to develop personality changes, aggressive behaviour, mood swings, anxiety etc symptoms. Her symptoms like paranoid behaviour, increased sleepiness, forgetfulness etc could be attributed to the effects of poisoning.

To some extent her symptoms can be treated. If she suffered neurotoxic effects then these are difficult to treat but psychiatric symptoms can be treated. The extent of damage can't be predicted. Please consult a good psychiatrist if her behaviour is causing problems.

Drugs like Olanzapine or Risperidone can be used to reduce the symptoms she is having. Neuroprotection can be achieved by drugs like Piracetam or even Vitamin E. The drugs will help her in better functioning.

Please talk to a psychiatrist for her treatment.

Thanks and Take care.
