Suggest Treatment For Bleeding From Hemorrhoids
Question: I have two problems: severe hemorrhoids irritated by frequent defecation (up to 5 times daily). I'm having hemorrhoid surgery shortly but I'm still left explaining what causes the defecations. I don't have bloody stool or nausea, just blood from the hemorrhoids. I've been tested by gastroenterologists with no diagnosis. I've tried changing my diet, taking probiotics and taking fibre supplements. Can you suggest some alternative approaches to my problem?

I'm having surgery to correct my hemorrhoid problem. What I needed to know is what causes the other major problem I have which is multiple defecations, perhaps 5 or 6 times a day. This will continue after the surgery and represents a problem in and of itself. I have taken the recommended precautions such as dietary changes, fibre additives and probiotics. So my question was "what causes multiple and excessive incidents of defecations?" As I indicated, after several tests, gastroenterologist have provided no help except to take Imodium. However, that just addresses the symptoms, not the cause.
