Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoids is the commonest cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of blood in toilet water, not feeling sick and was not a hard stool.
I take this to be painless as you have not mentioned about it and also seen the picture.
The commonest cause of painless bleeding per-rectum while defecating is hemorrhoids, also called as Piles.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult a General Surgeon and get a per-rectal examination, Ano-Proctoscopy to know the exact cause and its extent. Colonoscopy may be done to rule out any other cause or additional problem as has to be done as a routine in case of per-rectal bleeding.
This will give you the perfect diagnosis and a plan for curative treatment.

I hope this answer helps you to get an early and proper diagnosis and treatment.
