i have a what iv googled a heavy flow from menstaring and its painful is it normal?

Usually, blood flow during the menstrual cycle should have bearable lower abdominal pain. and there should not be any passage of clots. This kind of a flow should last for 4 to 5 days, to be considered as normal.
If you have any deviation from this, you need to get USG done and opt for some analgesic and blood loss reducing medicines.
Your treating gynecologist can help you out to get tablets of Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid for the same.
Excess blood loss with passage of clots and pain will disturb your daily routine and health. So please observe the bleeding pattern and seek treatment accordingly.
