Brief Answer:
needs mucolytics.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having productive sputum.

Hydrogen peroxide gargle or mouth wash are recommended in case of pharyngitis or fresh surgical wounds (post tonsillectomy).

Chronic sinusitis can induce lung infection by its post nasal drip (sinus secretions trickling back into throat).

With the combination of sinusitis with Bronchiectasis, should be managed with antibiotics and mucolytics and if necessary with steroids and physiotherapy.

I suggest the following measures, to overcome your copious phlegm.

1. Steam inhalation.

2. anti allergic with mucolytic combination (tab.ambcet) ambroxyl +citrizine, one tab at bed time.

3. Tab.azibest (azithromycin 500mg) one tab at bed time (medical prescription needed ).

In case of persistence, needs to be evaluated with ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
