Question: Random brown marks all over body. Including a picture of the ones on my thumb. They appear out of no where and do not go away.

It seems to be due to build up of keratin

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through the details and checked the attached images. It seems to be due to keratosis or build up of keratin. It has a genetic component but occurs due to exposure to UV rays. Moisturize your skin while in wet condition using lotions with urea or propylene glycol. You may also apply topical lactic acid (an over-the-counter medication) since it removes excess keratin.
