HI
Thanks for your query

After going through your query I concluded that you got a large bruise over your thigh which is also extending below your knees. These are subcutaneous Hematomas. You need not to worry much as bruise gradually resolve itself. During resolution bruise may change colour and extend to other areas. It is normal. Thrombophobe gel local application without rubbing help in resolving it early. For pain relief you may need analgesic such as ibuprofen.

You need to worry if you develop fever (rare) as fever indicates infection and needs attention. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to me. I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.

Take care.
