To tell you simply regarding this conditon - it is a viral infection caused by HPV VIRUS. It can be due to sexual contact or can also be due to close contact with any person having the same kind of infection.

It is quite common condition and there is nothing to be worried about the condition. Typically it starts as small eruption which in due course if time can become bit larger and then forms the thorn like projections as we can see in the picture.

Warts can occur with or without sexual contact both. So you should not just correlate the condition with sexual contact only. As I said in previous mail it can occur without sexual contact too meaning in close skin to skin contact suffice to ot case entry of virus in the skin.

In general is occurs within 3 months of the period of close contact but can be little longer in some persons.

Overall there is nothing be worried about the same and can be easily managed.
