Brief Answer:
Give her pain killer along with silver nitrate gel application

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns. Don't worry. Silver nitrate gel is good for skin burns and helps in early recovery. Since its a painful condition, so I would recommend you to use acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain relief. This will also help her to calm down. You may give it every 8 hours for next 3 days.

Also, take following measures to help her out:

- Keep you child’s skin clean and replace gauze dressings in case of open wounds daily.
-Protect your child’s skin from heat, cold, and sunlight.
-Avoid any tight clothing and keep her in comfortable temperature.
-Serve your child foods that are high in protein and energy. Give her lots of fluids to maintain hydration.
-Your child can do all the activities she did before the injury.

Hopefully this will help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Use cool tap water and plain soap or normal saline to clean

Detailed Answer:
Hi

You may clean it with cool tap water and plain soap. In case the wound is very painful, then you may use normal saline ( 500 ml bottles) available at medical stores for cleaning the wounds twice daily. Thereafter apply silver nitrate gel.

Hopefully the wounds will heal fast.
