Suggest Treatment For Burning Pain In The Ankles

Question: I have such burning pain in my left ankle that also runs down the back of my leg. I have have steroid injections (3) and attending pt but I am no better... This started January 6. An MRI was done 2 yrs and I was told that I have mild spinal stenosis .. Affecting l 3-5.

I have studied your case and reports

Canal stenosis leads to burning/numb sensation and pain in your back and leg.

For these symptoms neurotropic medication like pregabalin and methylcobalamine can be started consulting your doctor.
Till time, you can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Epidural [spine]steroid shot can help if you have not taken.
If there is no relief with all conservative measures then surgical decompression with fusion or fixation can be done.
