I have read your query.

If I am your treating doctor, first I would do your examination of shoulder and then access the MRI scan of shoulder joint and then advise you whether you require arthroscopic surgery or physiotherapy in addition to intra articular steroid injection.

So I advise you to visit arthroscopic surgeon for your examination of shoulder joint as its utmost important for decision.

In addition visit good physiotherapy center nearby you.

Avoid weightlifting or overhead activities as much as you can.

As per your age normally we advise intra articular steroid injection then wait for 3 weeks, if partial response occurs, then again injection ia advised otherwise go for surgery.
