Suggest Treatment For Candidal Balanoposthitis
Question: hi, i live in XXXXXXX and aged about 34 years, from past 15 days i am facing some what allergy kind of problem on my penis fore head and Skin, the foreskin is started itching and if i peel the fore skin i notice some fungus like thing covering the fore head which gets cleared after wash, daily 2 times i wash it and wile peeling i noticed that there are micro cuts on the top most thin layer of the fore skin which is causing the itching and the forehead feel like scratching it

You seem t o be having candidal balanoposthitis.In simpler words yeast infection of glans and prepuce.
In my clinical practice I usually treat such patients by prescribing
Oral fluconazole 150 mg once in a week. Sometimes just a single dose is enough
Tablet levocetirizine 5mg twice in a day
Clotrimazole beclomethasone combination cream twice in a day(Candid B cream)
Clean the area with XXXXXXX warm water twice in a day. No soap or Dettol or savlon should be used to clean the area.
Also rule out if your partner has itching or vaginal discharge. Usually partner is also treated.
