Suggest Treatment For Cavitation Below Buttock After A Severe Bruise
Question: After a sever bruise (about two months ago) right below my buttock, I have a cavitation almost exactly the length width and depth of my index finger. It is most visible when my leg is straight but it is always visible (pronounced actually). It seems like either the surrounding area is swollen or all the fat is gone from the affected area. I tried to have 2 syringes of filler injected but it did nothing. I need to fix it. Please help.,
Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern.
It doesn't seem to be a structural deformity , it could displaced fat tissue due to the trauma as its an are which is quiet rich in fat.
An Ultrasound of the affected area to look for any soft tissue edema etc can be done. An x ray to look for any adjoining abnormality may also be done.
You may upload a good quality picture of the indentation to have a better idea.
Let me know if you have any query
wishing you best of health
