1. Range of Movements of Neck : Both Active Movements as well as Passive Movements
2. Muscle Power
3. Reflexes
4. Sensory Involvement
Radiology is Required to Document the Various Structural Changes that have been caused due to Cervical Spondylosis
Nerve Conduction Studies are requires to Know the Level and Extend of Nerve Compressions to decide the treatment options.
After this Evaluation, based on the findings in Evaluation we have to start the treatment
The Treatment Options will be
1. Life Style Modifications : Change in Pillows, Avoiding two wheelers etc
2. Exercises
3. Physiotherapy
4. Traction (if Needed)

Your valuable suggestions were usesul. Now my dad is no more lifting weigts andgoing for a normal job and used to continue night shifts at some times.
As per your suggestion we will consult a Neurosurgeon for further evaluation.
