Suggest Treatment For Chemical Burns In The Eye
Go in to ER to be seen now.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I am sorry no one has responded to your questions sooner. I advise you go in to the ER. There they can use something called a "slit lamp" (an instrument that you rest your chin on and the doctor can look at your cornea with - it magnifies what is seen). The doctor may stain your tears with fluorescein first, which will show if there is abrasion of the cornea when viewed under the slit lamp. If there is, the doctor will likely give you a steroid eye drop medication (and possibly a pain killer if you need it). The steroid eye drops can help prevent problems as it heals.
So do go in and have your eye looked at now.
Please let me know if I can provide further information.
