Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Acid Reflux
A differential diagnosis work up should be performed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
I understand your concern, and would like to explain that regarding your chest pain characteristics, it seems very probable to be an extra cardiac one. A prolonged daily chest pain for all these years it is very likely to be of muscular-skeletal nature, facing your age and all cardiac tests results. A normal resting ECG, cardiac ultrasound coupled with a normal cardiac stress test and cardiac enzymes, and eventually a normal perfusional image cardiac test (such as cardiolite or a cardiac angio CT), excludes with a high probability a cardiac origin of your chest pain.
Additional alternative tests should be performed to identify the right extra cardiac reason of your chest pain. You have to discuss with an internist.
Hope to have been helpful to you! Feel free to ask me whenever you need! Greetings! Dr. Iliri
Imagine techniques may rule out such a disorder.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Yes! You are right!
Aortic originated pain may be a reason of chest pain. But after all those tests, I believe it has been excluded, because acute aortic syndrome is among the primary and dangerous diagnosis to be ruled out first of all. Several imagine tests, like cardiac ultrasound (trans thoracic and transesophageal), aortic angio CT, and also MRI may easily rule out an underlying aortic disorder.
You have to talk with your attending doctor, in order to review actually performed tests, and discuss about this issue.
Best wishes! Dr. Iliri
