Suggest Treatment For Cholangiocarcinoma
Brief Answer:
life expectancy may be more
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query. I understand your concerns. I agree that it appears advanced stage. Has biopsy confirmation been done?
In this case surgery is not feasible. However other treatment options are available. We can start with chemotherapy and after few cycles can try for radiotherapy along with chemo.
Hopefully he will survive much longer than 6 months. It may not be curable.
Hope this helps. I will be available to answer further follow up queries, if any.

Brief Answer:
in this scenario chemo not possible
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up.
Yes, this bit of information was not there in the previous query. With this current scenario chemo is not feasible. Bile drainage procedure may be done to reduce the jaundice but not much helpful in the long run.
We must give him supportive care to improve his quality of life. I am sure something can be done to help him even if we can't control the disease. If you have any palliative care physician nearby he or she can help.
Regards
