Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough And Granular Pharyngitis
Get done PFT first.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Lung is highly vascular structure.
Purification and oxygenation of blood is done by lungs only.
So very large amount of blood is coming into the lungs for Purification and leaving out of lungs to the heart.
This blood is carried by Pulmonary arteries and veins.
The part where these vessels going in the lungs and coming out of the lungs is known as hilum.
Other structures present in the hilum are lymphnodes, connective tissue, bronchus etc.
You are having peri hilar vessel prominence.
This means your Pulmonary vessels are prominent. This is seen in smokers, bronchitis, Pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, sometimes in normal person too.
So to rule out these causes, better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. CT thorax screening.
3. PFT ( Pulmonary Function Test).
Quit smoking as soon as possible if you have these habit.

I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
Get done CT thorax screening.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
So, your chest x ray is showing bilateral perihilar prominence and PFT is normal, but you are having chronic dry cough.
Better to get done CT thorax screening to rule out underlying perihilar pathologies like lymphnode enlargement, infective focus etc.
Chest x ray has its own limitation in diagnosis of hilar pathology.
That's why CT thorax is needed. If CT thorax is normal then no need to worry for tuberculosis or pneumonia.
