Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cystitis When With A History Of UTI
Asymptomatic Bacteriuria
Detailed Answer:
Thank youf or asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Enterococci are coliform organisms like E coli and are very common cause of UTIs. Advancing age, shorter female urethra, closer proximity to the anal area of the urethra all predispose to such recurrent UTI infections.
That lab value of CFU / ML means colony forming units of e coli and others in a single ml of urine. That indicates a UTI due to its upper limit of normal but still not enough to be put on antibiotics. Values larger than this number are advised for antibiotics. Without symptoms these levels are called asymptomatic bacteriuria. Cystitis with symptoms even 1000 per ml are enough.
Instillation of bladder with ozone and hyaluronic acids to make the epitheliums smooth enough to prevent any adhesion of bacteria is the key here.
I would say it is ok as there is not much you can do here except maintaining good toilet hygiene and drink plenty of fluids and garlic and cranberry juices. And stay in touch with your urologist.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
