Suggest Treatment For Chronic Nondisplaced Anterior/superior Labral Tear
Can be treated conservatively.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Chronic nondisplaced anterior/superior labral tear with no shoulder joint subluxation can be treated conservatively. You can take mild pain killers as prescribed by your doctor. You can also try using heat or ice on your shoulder for about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. If your shoulder is very painful, try using a sling for a few days to support your arm.
After the pain subsides you can do physiotherapy that may include exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles and to gently stretch the back of the shoulder. Your doctor or therapist will teach you to do the exercises and avoid pain, then the exercise program may be done at home.
In case the pain is persistent then an arthroscopic procedure is recommended to see the extent of tear and do the repair as required.
I hope this answers your query.

Partial tear can be treated conservatively.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
In case of hip if the tear is partial thickness tear then it can be managed conservatively with adequate rest. In case the tear is older than 6 weeks and is not responding to conservative treatment or is a full thickness tear with degenerative changes then a surgical repair needs to be considered for early mobilization.
Hope my answer is helpful.
