Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sinusitis
Question: I have suffered with sinus issues for years. So far this year I have had constant discomfort, I have had hearaches, felt like my head is congested, had a stuffy nose and post nasal drip, this is what my symptoms have been most of the time. More recently I am having LOTS of pain in the bridge and sides of my nose, pain in the upper teeth and cheekbones and on the odd occasion have felt slight numbness in my face. Doctors don't seem concerned, but I am worried. I use steam, nasal irrigation and sterimar products aswell as nasacort and sudafed when needed. Cold this be a sign of nasal cancer?
Brief Answer:
Only cold cannot be sign of cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
It looks to be chronic sinusitis. there are frequent attacks. The trigger should be identified quickly and preventee. as long as you have attacks you would be worried about cancer. so work with your doctor to identify triggers. it could be anatomical cause, allergy, environment, infection etc.
only cold cannot be thought of cancer.
Let me know any other concerns.

I have burning sensation roof of mouth behind two front teeth, numbness in nose and cheeks aswell as the pain. Sinuses were feeling better until 3 weeks ago, I Have been having these pains since a visit to the dentist for dental routine clean. Could this have something to do with it could I have got an infection from dental treat mentioned.
Brief Answer:
May not be serious infection but dental procedure related
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The new symptoms could be related to dental procedure. It is not quite obvious if you have infection through dental route.
You should check back with the dentist.
Such procedures are a site for infections and aggravate the sinus attack. IT is still not full blown, please go back to dentist and check if everything done was normal.
